Hey, thanks for checking out my website!!! My name is Brian glad your here,The Dog shepherd is a christian dog walking business run by myself, I was born and raised in NYC. Im operating my business in the heart of Lower East Side, Manhattan in NYC 🙂 Ive been a dog walker in NYC now for about 3 years. I’m a former employee of Biscuits and Baths,and a lover of dogs in general. I have expierence with many different kinds of dogs from young to old and different breeds. I myself have been a dog owner my whole life. My first dog sadly passed away. My second dog is now 13 years old and I love her 🙂

I walk dogs because….I LOVE DOGS!!! They are exciting to be around and give you some good exercise to stay fit. I also do this business to provide for my household, as a Born again Christian I am commanded by the words of God in scripture to supply for needs of those I love,and what better way to provide then doing something you love 😉.

Dog walks:

Someone has to use the bathroom or get some exercise and you are not home, don’t worry I’m here to help!

A [30 minute] or [1 hour] walk with some play time if needed,what specific route should I take,you decide!Your dog will accompany me and other customers dogs for a walk.

Time Frames:I pick up the dog anywhere from the time specified to 1 hour after,this because I walk multiple dogs at once and must pick up and drop off the dogs at different locations in an orderly manner.

Check in's:

30 min check in’s,I’ll drop by your house play with your pup,feed and refill their water.(Only Mon-Thursday)

PIck ups&Drop offs:

Is your dog at daycare?or maybe with a friend?Maybe you need me to drop them off at daycare.Well I can pick them up and drop them off at your house or another location.(Must be in walking distance not too far)

Some of the dogs I’ve had the pleasure of walking

1)I May or may not do group walks while walking your dog, so if your dog gets along with other dogs thats great!

2)I do not take any dogs with history of violence,if they bite i will not walk them.I only take dogs that are kind and get along and are playful with other humans and dogs.

3)Payments are done by cash only and must be given before every walk,if not given prior to the walk i will not go foward with the walk.

4)You must cancel walks a day before the service occurs,if done the day of service you must pay a $25 cancellation fee.

5)I dont walk at specific times, but rather specific time frames for example:if you choose the time frame of (7am-8am) i will pick up and drop off your lovely dog anywhere in between that time frame,this is because I walk multiple dogs at once and cannot pick up an drop them off all at the same time due to location differences,so to do this in an orderly and timed fashion this is how i operate my business.
